Most dog owners haven’t heard of Canine Osteosarcoma, which is a form of bone cancer in dogs. It is the most common bone tumour (primary) in dogs in the U.S, and is estimated to affect around 9-10000 dogs every year there. Treatment in recent years has become more effective, and can help to fight the disease or at least improve the quality of the dogs life to an acceptable level.
